Robert Joseph Bowen, age 61, son of Jarvis and Etta Brinkley Bowen was born, September 29, 1955 in Goldsboro, North Carolina passed away October 8, 2016 at the Earl B. Hadlow Community Hospice Center for Caring in Jacksonville, Florida.

His hobbies included fishing, boating, riding his Harleys, also spending time with family and helping others in any way he could.

Robert was preceded in death by Jarvis Bowen, and Etta Brinkley Bowen.

He is survived by 4 siblings: Joy Bowen Welborn, Darrell Bowen, Linda Bowen and husband William Bearden, and Glen Bowen. 4 children Amber Lynn Segall, Robert Lee Bowen, Timmy Lee Bowen, and Mandy Lee Brown. All grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Who will all love and miss him too.

Heaven has acquired a special angel and a bright star shines in the sky for this special man who will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of his Life Ceremony will be held at a later date yet to be announced by his family.
