Obituary of Robert Breitenfeld

Robert E. Breitenfeld, Sr., 89, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, April 13, 2009. He was born March 26, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to Jack and Anna Breitenfeld. For most of his life he was a successful salesman in the food business and retired at age 75. Robert was a veteran of WWII, serving in the South Pacific. He was a devoted husband who will be greatly missed by his wife, Julie who enjoyed 67 years of marriage to him. He is survived by his wife, Julie; his sons, Robert, James, Michael, and Scott Breitenfeld; daughter, Kim Straughn; grandchildren, Chad, Kendra, Nicholas, Zachary, and Carley Breitenfeld, Kelli, Jaime, and Taylor Straughn; and great grandsons, Elijah and Ethan Hildreth, and Jeremiah Williams. Family and friends will rejoice in his memory on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Boulevard North.
