Obituary of Robert Carter

Robert Alan Carter, "Bob", 47, passed away January 9, 2010. Mr. Carter was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was also a hockey fan. Bob was married 22 years to the love of his life, Aloma. in September of 2005 Bob and ALoma lost their precious Katie, a Boxer German Shepherd. Survivors include his loving wife, Aloma Carter; sister, Kelly Carter (Jimmie L. Smith);nephew, Justin Carter; step-son, Jim Herrington; Step grandchildren, Jimmy (Leslie), Wesley (Allie Dodson) and Ben Herrington; step-great-granddaughter, Cynthia Herrington; two special boxers Gator and Allie and several extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 16, 2010 at 2pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, with Pastor Marc Swarthout, officiating.
