Robert D. Harris, Jr., 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Richmond, Virginia on January 17, 1960 to parents, Robert D. Harris Sr. and Wilma T. Harris.

Robert graduated from Sandalwood High School in 1978 and worked in the grocery business most of his adult life. He recently began a job with Frito Lay that he enjoyed very much.

He is survived by his 4 children, Betsy Harris, Kimberly Harris Raeford (Charles Raeford), Heather Harris, and Robert D. Harris III. His mother, Wilma Harris; sisters, Elizabeth F. Smith (David Smith) and Rhonda L. Carter (J. Scott Carter) and brother James E. Harris (Cynthia Harris); 4 grandchildren, Jonah Schwend, Cameryn Raeford, Cayson Raeford, and Charley Raeford.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Harris Sr.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Monday December 16th at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, Florida 32211. Funeral services will commence at 10 am, Tuesday, December 17th at the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ronald McKenzie officiating.
