Obituary of Robert Jacob

Robert Glenn Jacob, 83, was taken to Heaven April 17, 2010. He was a loving husband and father and an outstanding member of the community. Robert joins his son, Jeffery Alan Jacob in Heaven. He leaves many to cherish his memory including his loving wife of 60 years, Betty Jean Jacob, their children, Michael Jacob and Barbara Jacob Worden and granddaughter, Bonnie Jean Worden. He was a faithful employee of the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for 33 years after which he was a consultant for Compass Foods for 15 years. Robert was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1946 and was a member of the VFW. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6-8:00pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:00am in Arlington Park Cemetery.
