Obituary of Robert Jones

Robert "R.V." Jones, 95, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2009. A loving husband, grandfather, great grandfather and brother; R.V. was pre-deceased by his wife of 71 years, Vi Jones and is survived by his sons Jack Dupree Jones and William Ernest Jones; granddaughters Vivian Ann Patterson and Karin Allison Dobson; great grandchildren Cameron Thomas Patterson and Kevan Michael Bunch. R.V. enjoyed the game of golf and was a loyal, honorary member of the Transportation "Traffic" Club of Jacksonville. He was well known and respected in the transportation community. R.V. will be truly missed by all. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Arlington Park Funeral Home.
