Obituary of Robert Lutz

Robert Reid Lutz, Sr. went peacefully to be with his Lord August 28, 2011, at the age of 84. He was born in Savannah, GA, and moved to Jacksonville, FL later in life. He served as a Marine in WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart medal. He retired from the City of Jacksonville. He is survived by his four children: Barbara (Joe) Collins, Robert "Reid" (Dana) Lutz, Jr., Adam (Carla) Lutz, and Margaret (Joe) Webb; step-children: Jackie Mullins, Bob Hoffman, Bill (Lucy) Hoffman, Barry (Amy) Hoffman, Jeanie (Randy) McDonald, and Pamela Hoffman. He was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday September 1, 2011 at 10:00am followed by Mass of Christian Burial and military Honors at Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jacksonville's not-for-profit Community Care Hospice.
