Robert Ian Morando, 29, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born in Jacksonville, FL to Robert K. Morando and Rosanne Snyder Morando on June 11, 1990.

Robert graduated from Terry Parker High School and attended Florida State Community College. He graduated from Santa Fe Police Academy and was a deputy Sherriff in Columbia County. Robert was a member of the Army Reserves. He worked at Publix Supermarkets beginning at the age of 15 and was a current employee as Team Leader. Robert was an avid fisherman. He loved being near water and much of his spare time was fishing on the dock. Robert formed many friendships while fishing. He loved music, Christmas, dogs, and making people happy. He enjoyed baseball and loved playing with his nephews and nieces. Robert loved to laugh and was a typical prankster. He rarely met a stranger and had many friends of all ages. Robert's smile lit up any room and his laugh contagious. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Elizabeth and Frank Spears and his very special friend, Woody.

He is survived by; Parents, Robert K. Morando & Rosanne S Morando, Sisters, Jennifer Morando, Ashley Sullivan, brother, Brett Morando, grandparents, Mario & Barbara Morando and Ian & RoseMarie Snyder, and a multitude of extended aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service to celebrate Robert's amazing life will be held on Wednesday, November 20th, 2019 at 2 o'clock in the Arlington Park Cemetery and Funeral Home. An informal gathering will immediately follow the service at Robert's favorite fishing dock, Reddi Point.
