Obituary of Robert Pate

Robert Lamar Pate, born on October 3, 1926 in Prichard, AL, entered into heaven on December 10, 2012. He has been a resident of Jacksonville for the last 47 years. He is veteran, having spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He worked for 25 years at Interpace (Fine China) retired in 1995 after 10 years with Pate Lumber Co. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Lula Pate and four siblings. He is survived by his wife, Darlene A. Pate; son, Steve (Carol) Pate; grandchildren, Shay (Rick), Eric (Annette), Jon, Brandon, Michelle and great grandchildren, Gage, Abby and Ethan. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private service is to be scheduled at a later date.
