Robert Brett Powell, son of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Powell, passed away at his residence on September 25, 2017.

Brett was born on December 28, 1966. He attended Sandalwood High School and the University of North Florida.

Other than his parents, Bettye and Bob Powell, he is survived by one daughter, Jessica Gates Powell; an uncle, John Keyes Powell of Jacksonville, Florida and an aunt, Martha Crooms of Atlanta, Georgia.

The family will receive friends beginning 10AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home. A memorial service will begin 11AM, Saturday, October 7, 2017 with Chaplain Clarence Jarrell officiating and a dear and long time friend, Jim Cotton will deliver the eulogy.
