Robert "Bob" Wilson, age 75, passed away on March 23, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16,1947 in Jacksonville, Florida to William S. Wilson and Mary Fleming Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Bill Wilson.
Bob graduated from Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, Florida in 1965. He then went off to college at the University of Florida. He graduated Class of 1969 with a bachelor's degree. After College, Bob went on to be a Lt. Commander in the Navy as a Pilot. He retired from the Navy in 1993. From there Bob purchased a storage unit company and ran it until 2005. Soon after, he met his loving wife (and also his best friend) Kay Patten Humphreys. They were married for 15 loving years.
Bob is survived by his wife Kay Wilson; sister, Evelyn (Roland) Norden; son, Chad Wilson; stepsons, Patrick (Desirae) Humphreys and Tyler Humphreys; stepdaughter, Jennifer Adams; grandchildren, Olivia Wilson, Zach (Allison) Adams, Shelby (Teshawn) Bachan, Austin Humphreys, Sheldon Adams, Carter Humphreys, Logan Humphreys, Sullivan Humphreys, and Leland Humphreys; great-grandchildren, Zayden, Brantley, Zion, Paxton and Zealand; and many close family and friends.
Bob loved golfing and sitting in his chair watching College football on Saturday's, especially the Gators. He also loved playing darts on Tuesday nights at the American Legion Post 129 in Jacksonville Beach, where he also was acting commander from 2000-2002. You could always find Bob in the kitchen trying a new recipe or baking a new dessert. Bob was always ready to take a new vacation and travel with his loving wife.
Bob was very loved and will be greatly missed. He will always be close to our hearts.

Memorial services for Bob will be held at a later date.
