IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robin Abbott
Inman
February 4, 1941 – September 12, 2023
Robin Abbott Inman Sr., 82, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on September 12th, 2023, surrounded by family.
He was born on February 4th, 1941, in Memphis, Tennessee. In 1959 he enlisted in the Navy (for which he served until 1965), and he married his high school sweetheart Kitty Beth Morris. In 1972 Robin, and his family, moved to Jacksonville Florida, to manage a family real estate business with his brothers Ray and Tom Inman.
Robin and Kitty's love story spanned 64 years, and they raised three wonderful children: Robin Abbott Inman Jr., Katherine Larue Inman (Jaxon), and Christopher Lee Inman.
Those that knew Robin, know he had an affinity for hunting. From the young age of five years old, Robin developed this passion for his favorite past time. Robin's fondest memories involved spending time with his family, while at his hunting property in Jacksonville, Georgia. In 2011, he was initiated into Alpha Tau Omega, the Delta Psi Chapter at Ole Miss, where his grandson, Graham Inman, attended. Beyond being known as a talented hunter, Robin was also known for his caring heart. It was his kindness that captured the hearts of so many friends, and he was truly beloved by all. He was the family patriarch, and a loved one to so many. He will be greatly missed.
Robin is survived by his wife Kitty, his children, Roby (Gina) Inman, Kathy (Kelly) Jaxon, Chris (Sandy) Inman. 7 Grandchildren; Mary (Mike) Ritter, Amanda (Christina) Thompson, Graham (AnnLee) Inman, Aaron Inman, Holly (AJ) Chancey, Jessica Inman and Christian (Jessica) Jaxon. 12 Great-Grandchildren; Walker, Grant, Brady, Landry, Ella-Grace, Archie, Alice, Chantel, Aurora, Cooper, Larue and Daniel. Siblings; Tom (Junko) Inman, Ray (Laura) Inman, and Janice Bernstein.
Services will be held on Monday, September 18, at Arlington Park Cemetery. The viewing will take place from 9am-10am, funeral services at 10am, and the interment at 11am. The family insists that people make donations to Robin's chosen charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in lieu of sending flowers.
