Obituary of Ronald Burns

Ronald Jesse Burns Sr., 77, entered into rest on August 24, 2013. He is remembered as a loving father, grandfather great grandfather and friend. He was born on March 25, 1936 to the late William Duff and Charlotte Pennington in Middletown, Ohio. He leaves to cherish his memory, children, Jewell D. Burns, Lisa Ann Burns, Ronald Jesse Burns, Jr., Penny Marie (Roger) Burns-Lee, Steven (Pauline) Jeffrey Burns, and Joshua (Terry) Lee Burns; grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Brandi, Michael, Amber, Trina, and Brandon; great grandson, Eric Brandon; sisters, Etta, Linda, Toni and Rita; brothers, Tim and David; numerous nieces and nephews along with many trusted friends. Ron enjoyed going to the dog track and watching horse racing. He loved shopping, but above all Ron's true passion was being surrounded by his family and spending time with them. His family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 6-8:00pm. His funeral will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00am.
