Ronald Dean Steeler, Sr.'s Obituary
Ron went to meet the Lord on May 16, 2021. He was born August 28, 1953 in Pampa, TX, and was raised in Elk City, OK. He joined the United States Navy, honorably served for 20 years, and retired from the Navy before he went on to spend the rest of his life in Jacksonville, FL.
Ron was a lifetime member of the Arlington Lion's Club. He loved to play golf and bowling. Ron coached youth football at the Arlington Football Association for several years as well as Baseball at Rondette Athletic Association.
Ron is survived by his amazing wife Vickie, to whom he was married for 45 years; 2 children, Ronnie Jr. and Jessica; 4 grandchildren (the lights of his life), Trinity, Keanna, Brandon, and Annyia; 1 brother, Jesse; 4 sisters, Cindy, Cheryl (deceased), Susie, and Michelle; and several nieces and nephews.
We will have a Celebration of Life for Ron at the
Arlington Lion's Club
on May 23, 2021 from 3-5pm, with the Service/Eulogy starting at 3:30.
