Obituary of Rosa Griffin

Rosa N. Griffin, 81, passed away January 1, 2010. She was a native of Denver, Florida and the daughter of the late David and Edith Beasley. She was a very loving and caring person and this was reflected in her 28 years as a Nurse's Aide. She loved her Lord and was loved by all she knew. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, Stephen and Michael W. Griffin. Survivors include a daughter Alice Powell (Richard); son, Joe Griffin (Penny), granddaughters, Donna Hartley (John), Faye Tate (Mike), Amy Ball (Brian), Stephanie Morrison (Bruce), Michelle Beck (James), Sandra Quinn (Danny), Joann Griffin and Marlena Griffin; grandson Joey Griffin; 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11am in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene, officiating. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
