Obituary of Roscoe Creel

Roscoe Alvin Creel, Sr. 90 year's old, long time resident of Jacksonville, Florida, went to be with the Lord May 30, 2009 at the Hadlow Hospice center. Roscoe was born on December 14, 1918, in Eagle Lake, Florida. He attended Southside Assembly of God church, served in the Navy and was a World War II veteran and was a member of Millwright union 2411. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. Survivors: wife, Doris M. Creel, daughter, Patricia Creel-Wilkes (Wayne) of Jacksonville, Florida, sons, Roscoe A. Creel Jr. of Cedar Key, Florida, John A. Creel Sr. (Anita) Old Town, Florida, and had many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, June 2, 2009 from 6- 8 p.m. at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arlington Park Funeral Home. Internment will immediately follow the funeral at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
