Obituary of Rose Rich

Rose May Rich, 85, went home to be with the Lord, Monday- July 30, 2007. She was born in Charleston, S.C. on May 28, 1922 to the late Daniel and Martha Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Kenneth, Sr. and her beautiful, precious daughter, Cherylann Mays.

Rose will be remembered as a genuine Southern Lady who was a member of the Parkwood Baptist Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Eastern Stars.

She is survived by her children, Sharon Rose, Windy (Dwight) Shuman, Cindy (Butch) Warner, Harley (Jayne) Rich Jr., Brian (Patty) Rich. Along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving her are her sisters, Alice Bolin, Vivian Schrugan, numerous nieces, nephews and extended families.

Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Thursday, August 2, 2007 for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. in the chapel, and a funeral service will be held at Parkwood Baptist Church on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery.
