Roy L. Lewis, age 88 who was born August 14, 1930 in St Louis, Missouri passed away July 23,  2019 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Roy was an FSU graduate, he served 3 years in the National Guard, was employed by SperryRand installing and servicing computers in 1957. He served in the Merchant Marines in the 1960's retrieving the space capsules and for 20 years he was an environmental biologist health inspector. Prior to retirement he worked for FSCJ.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Godfrey and Sarah Lewis, sister Nancy Goodale and twin brother Ray Lewis.

He is survived by; wife Sarah Martha Lewis, daughters Lynda and Laura, son Geoffrey, brother Robert, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former deceased wife, Theresa Cox's family.

Memorial services will be held on August 3, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 440 Penman Rd at Neptune Beach.
