Obituary of Roy Osteen
Roy Walter Osteen, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2009. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rose Marie Osteen; and his parents, Mr. Allen A. Osteen, Sr. and Ulva Lord Osteen. He leaves to cherish his memories, brother, Burton Osteen; numerous nieces and nephews; and many trusted friends. Roy was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed many pastimes such as, being a member of the Jacksonville Corvette Club, the Mandarin Corvette Club, the Jacksonville Orchid Society, and the Riverside Garden Club. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 6-8:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2009 at Arlington Park Funeral Home at 9:00a.m. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach, Florida.
