Obituary of Royce Johnson
Royce Edwin Johnson, 72, passed away April 17, 2008. A loving husband, father, grandfather; Royce worked for Goodyear and retired after 38 years of faithful service. During his retirement years, he worked with estate sales and antiques. Royce was a member of Terry Parker Baptist Church where he was an ordained deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Doris Johnson; daughter Debbie (Jeff) Brown; grandson Jeffrey (Jennifer) Brown; great granddaughter Emma Brown; 5 sisters; 1 brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd. on Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 1-3 p.m. The service will follow at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Rd. Jacksonville, FL. or the McGraw Center, 4500 San Pablo Rd. Jacksonville, FL. 32224
