Ruben Santoni was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico on June 2, 1929. He died on March 1, 2026 in Jacksonville, FL where he has resided since 2017. He was married to the late Zaida Vega and had two kids, Ruben and Evelyn Santoni. He also had another daughter, Judith Santoni.

Ruben served in the Armed Forces during the Korean War stationed in Germany. After his service he went back to Puerto Rico to be a policeman, a profession which he loved. He was a public servant in the police force as his father and uncle were. During his adult life he graduated from college as he loved to learn and read.

He was preceded in death by his wife and only son. He is survived by his daughters as well as 8 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, and one great-great grandkid, his siblings Nereida, 88, and Taly, 98, and other extended family.

He leaves a legacy of love and caring for one another which we cherish.
