Obituary of Ruby Broom

Ruby Lee Broom, 59, passed away in the early morning of September 1, 2007 surrounded by her family. A loving and kind person, Ruby spent much of her life nurturing and caring for her own family as well other children while working for a number of years at the Happy Acres Ranch. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, giving heart and tender care.

Ruby is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Ron Broom; her daughters Angie (Lee) Whippey, Mandy Dandridge, Amy (Chris) Olsen; 9 beautiful grandchildren; brothers George B. Helms and Troy Helms and many adoring friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Vergie Tucker.
