Ruby Magee Kearley, 87, passed away peacefully in Jacksonville, Florida on May 22, 2015 surrounded by children and grandchildren.

Ruby was born on March 4, 1928 in Tylertown, Mississippi. She moved to Jacksonville with her husband when he was stationed here at Mayport Naval Station while serving in the US Navy in the early 1950's and was happy to make Jacksonville her home. Ruby is remembered as a loving wife, adoring mother, doting grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles Henry Kearley of Beatrice, Alabama and her son, Charles H. Kearley, Jr(Juanita). She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Robert N. Kearley and Alan L. Kearley(Ann), her daughters, Diann L. Zambito(Frank) and Susan R. Dowling(Johnie), also numerous grandchildren and great grand-children.

Ruby Kearley enjoyed gardening, crocheting, fishing, and especially working in the yard having been known for always having a beautiful yard with lots of flowers. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services for Ruby will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 at 10:00am in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel with interment to immediately follow in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening May 29th, 2015 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home. There will be a reception following the service at the funeral home.
