Obituary of Samuel Siegel
Samuel Joel Siegel Born Sept 7th 1954 in Savannah , Georgia passed on peacefully of natural causes, in his home on Monday June 1st. Sam, also known as Sandy to those closest to him has lived in the Jacksonville area for the last 30 years.
He is survived by his son Shay Siegel and grandson Lucas Siegel from Hilton Head, South Carolina; a brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Beverly Siegel from Lexington, Kentucky; an uncle and aunt, Alvin and Judy Siegel of New York, New York; and life partner Kelly Lane of Jacksonville, Florida as well as many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mickey Levy, his father Melvin Siegel and his brother Edward Siegel all of Savannah , Georgia.
Sam had a great passion for rock and roll, boating. He was a collector of music memorabilia, and eccentric and beautiful creations of art. He was happiest spending time at concerts, music festivals and with his family. He was great at playing jokes and loved to make children laugh. His greatest joy was his grandson Lucas.
May he find joy and laughter in the higher realm . God bless his soul .
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 4th, 2015 at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA at 2:30pm.
