Sandra (Sandy) J. Hayden, born November 24, 1946, passed away on November 4, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Leonard (Gus) A. Hayden.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Deborah Kennedy (Rusty); children, Jimmy, Bobby (wife Marianne), Kenny, and Kristen (Bill); grandchildren, Hannah, Josh, and Leah.

She was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and it was there that she met her husband and raised her three sons. They later moved to Jacksonville, Florida where she had her daughter and later helped to raise her grandchildren.  She is known for her sense of humor and welcoming smile. She loved playing cards, cooking and she always enjoyed a good laugh. She spent the last year of her life in Saint Marys, Georgia with her wonderful grandkids.

She loved her family with everything she had and will always be remembered as wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 from 5pm to 7pm.  A Rosery Prayer will commence at 6pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd N, Jacksonville, FL 32277 with Fr. Peter Akin-Otiko officiating. Entombment will follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
