Obituary of Sandra Kastelz

Sandra Bennett Kastelz, 64, entered into rest on January 20, 2011. She is remembered as a loving wife, sister and doting mom to her four legged children. Sandra was born to the late Mr. Richard B. Bennett, Jr. and Joy Powell Bennett on September 14, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida. Sandra was a legal secretary for the State of Florida Public defender's office for 12 years. She was an avid animal rights advocate and enjoyed volunteering with the Humane Society. Sandra is remembered as having some of the most beautiful needle and craft work. She was a member of two chapters of the Red Hat Society. She was a voracious reader. Sandra is predeceased by her brother, Richard B. Bennett, III. Sandra is survived by her husband of 32 wonderful years, William L. Kastelz, Jr.; brother, Steven L. Bennett (Cathy); nieces, Natalie Rolewicz (Mike) and Christine Bennett; her beloved dog Eddie and numerous friends. Her family would like to request that donations be made in her honor to the Jacksonville Humane Society at jaxhumane.org. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
