Sandra (Sandy) Kenefake, 80 of St. Augustine passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026 at her home. 

She was born on February 17th, 1946 in Rome, New York and later made her home Jacksonville, Florida. 

She was preceded in death by her husband George Kenefake, (2012). 

She is survived by three siblings, Alvin Benedikter (Roxanna) of Lynchburg, VA, Sherry Edwards (Scott) of Jacksonville, FL, Alan Benedikter (Jennifer) of Hickory North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. 

Sandy retired as the Director of Employee Benefits from the Duval County School Board. She was a strong advocate of unity for her family. She loved gazing at the ocean and was an enthusiast of the Jacksonville, Jaguars.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will be received for the viewing at 10:00 AM. The services will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery at 6920 Lone Star Rd.. Jacksonville, Florida. with Pastor Terry Collins, officiating.

Following the burial, there will be a reception at FaithBridge Church, 13720 McCormick Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211, all are welcome to attend.
