Shearer S Cook's Obituary
Shearer Cook, 53, passed away on October 20th, 2015 in Jacksonville, FL.
Shearer is survived by her daughter Jessica Cook, parents Jack and Nance Sanders, siblings Mary Wilson, Tracy Evans and John Sanders, her partner Scott Gandy and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years Stephen Cook, her sister Denise Harden and mother Chris Sanders.
Shearer was born on June 7th in Virginia. She was a graduate of Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville, FL. She married Stephen Cook in 1980 and they had their only child, Jessica, in 1985. She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 30 years where she made many lifelong friends.
A funeral Service will be held Monday, October 26th, 2015 at 11:00am at Arlington Park Funeral Home. Ron Henson will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Shearer's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Arlington Park Funeral Home at 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211.
