After a fourteen-year battle with Alzheimer's, Shelley Cunningham Williams passed away peacefully on November 27, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Shelley was born in Ocala, Florida to Grover and Maxine Cunningham on November 12, 1939. She was one of 4 children. Shelley graduated from Terry Parker High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Over the years, Shelley worked as a receptionist, Florist and retired from JEA in payment processing. Her hobbies included flower arranging, sewing, golf and photography. She was also devoutly Catholic volunteering her time at
the church.

Shelley was a loving mother who stayed home for many years to raise her 2 children. She was a dedicated mom always volunteering at the school and using her sewing talents to make costumes for all of the children's plays. She constantly pushed and encouraged her children to be the first in the family to go to college and as a result both children graduated from college and one went on to graduate school. She was also a devoted and loving grandmother to four grandchildren.

Shelley was predeceased by her parents Grover and Maxine Cunningham. She leaves behind three siblings: her sister Gail Allison and her husband Tom Allison, brother Rick Cunningham and his wife Caroline Cunningham and brother Ronnie Cunningham and his wife Reva Cunningham. She also leaves behind her Son Walter L Williams, lll (Tripp) and his Wife Beth Williams and her daughter Monica Hentschel. As well, she leaves behind four grandchildren Alexandra Williams, Isabella Williams, Austen Hentschel and Walker Hentschel. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's foundation or your church. Services will be held at the graveside at Arlington Park Cemetery on December 11, 2021 at 11 am.
