Ms. Shirley Jacobs Beverley, 88, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025. She was born on March 25, 1937, in Hortense, Georgia, to the late Ward and Trudie Jacobs.

Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked faithfully as an office manager and was known not only for her professionalism but also for her kindness and compassion. She was a true sweetheart, with a gentle spirit and a loving heart.

A woman of unwavering faith, Shirley loved the Lord and found great joy in praising Him. Her devotion to God was evident in the way she lived her life—full of love, grace, and gratitude. Family was everything to her, and her love extended far beyond her immediate relatives. She was affectionately known as "Grandma" to many, including the friends of her children and grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Robert Beverley; her daughter, Lynn Ownwes; and all of her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Landon; four grandchildren, Lee Landon, Brandy Allen, Robbie Melvin, and Daniel Melvin; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

Shirley's warmth, faith, and love touched the lives of many. Her legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
