Shirley Murphy Jansen, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on October 22, 2021 at 86.  Shirley was born on September 26, 1935 in Sylvania, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her (Parents) Felton Waters and Georgia Mock, (Brother) Hansel Waters (Husbands) Jim E. Oliver, George E. Murphy and Bill Jansen (Son) Dan Murphy (Granddaughter) Nicole Oliver.

Those left to treasure her many memories are her most adored treasures (Son) J. Edward Oliver (Jennifer Oliver), Pat Murphy (Megan Murphy), (Grandchildren) Jennifer,  Josh (Bridget), Jessie, Wesley (Brooke), Tyler, Shanon, Hayley, Kristin, (Great-Grandchildren) Kaylyn, Wyatt, Peyton, Presley, Grady and Tallon, (Brother) Russell Waters (Dell Waters), (Sister in law) Vickie Waters.

Shirley started a career in sales when Edward was just a child.  Shirley's talent and drive showed in the many weddings she orchestrated for JB Whites.  Her life took her to many places like Hawaii, Washington DC, Chicago and Seattle, making people feel beautiful through her sales in the cosmetic field with her late husband George Murphy.   She retired in Florida, met Bill and traveled Florida and California.

Shirley was a professional and a class act, but never had a problem kicking off her heels and fishing, cooking, golfing and gardening. Always that small town girl!

Shirley had the ability to make many friends; people automatically flocked to her because of her love of life.  She loved her family and God with her whole heart- a true lady!
