Shirley Ann Fowler, age 75, daughter of James Gordon Sr. and Mary Ann Smith Justice, who was born, August 13, 1942 in West Green, Georgia went home to be with her Lord on August 30, 2017 at St. Vincent's Southside Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.

Shirley lived her life to the fullest, despite years of crippling illness. Some of her many interests and hobbies were freshwater and saltwater fishing, artistic crochet, drawing, painting and numerous other creative endeavors.

She was much beloved by many people. She was very friendly and generous to friends, family and strangers alike; always giving, always there with an understanding ear and heart of a godly counselor.

Shirley was preceded in death by other family members including her father James Sr., mother Mary and brother James Gordon, Jr.

She is survived by; her husband Jerry Fowler, daughters; Alacia Fowler, Michele Curry, Rene' Griswold; sisters Louise Greene and Jami Kinchelo, seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive guests for a viewing 11 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 12 PM Saturday September 2, 2017 in Arlington Park Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Steve McCollum officiating.

Interment to follow the service in Arlington Park Cemetery.
