Obituary of Stephen Graham

Stephen R. Graham, 80, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. Steve was born in Louisiana on October 19, 1930 to the late John and Maxine Graham. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Virginia Snell Graham of thirty seven wonderful years and his sister Margaret M. Graham. Steve was a devoted follower of Christ and loved his family; he was the Arlington Meals on Wheels coordinator, a member of Gideons International, a member of the Rose Society and Studebaker Club. Steve also loved camping, swimming, canoeing and sailing. He is survived by his daughters Patricia (Paul) Zirhut, Jean Poppy, Stephanie (Jeff) Fear and Carol DeVolk; grandchildren Diane, Melissa, Stephen, Michael, Gerrit, Cayla and Corey; great-grandchildren Tony and Jeremy. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and a funeral service at Fort Caroline Presbyterian Church, 3754 University Club Boulevard, on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Arlington Meals on Wheels, Northeast Florida Community Hospice, Gideons International or Fort Caroline Presbyterian.
