Susan V. Johnson went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 12, 2015. She was 92, born in Durham, NC, and lived in Jacksonville since 1953. Susan was retired for more than 25 years from the Banking Industry and a member of First Baptist Church of Jacksonville.

Susan loved traveling and staying in touch with life long friends. She also had a special fondness with their cabin 'in the hills' of North Carolina, spending many summers there visiting, gardening, and enjoying her home away from home.

Susan was pre-deceased by her Husband, Hollis N Johnson, and her Daughter, Beverly S Todd. She is survived by her Son, Jeffrey L Johnson, Daughter-in-Law, Gail L Johnson, Son-in-Law, Don Todd, and a very special Grand Daughter, Ashley L Johnson.

Susan's Family hold many wonderful memories of their beloved Mother and Grand Mother, affectionately named G-Ma. Susan's Church Family has also been a blessing as she prepared for her journey home. In lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville are requested.

A Graveside Celebration of Life will begin 10AM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32211 with Reverend Steve McCollum officiating. A reception will follow the service in the Arlington Park Funeral Home Chapel.
