Susan Thies Rowe's Obituary
Susan Thies Rowe of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at the age of 66. Born on April 14, 1953 in Jacksonville, she was the daughter of Wesley and Dorothy (Pace) Thies.
Susan graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1971 and from Florida State University in 1975 with a Bachelors in Education. She taught school for 31 years in West Palm Beach, Florida. After she retired in 2006, Susan returned home to Jacksonville to take care of her mother and be closer to her family. She was an avid lover of the Florida State Seminoles, traveling, gardening, and most of all, socializing with her friends, family, and neighbors. Susan looked forward to each and every holiday; she always cooked a big meal for the whole family. GO NOLES!!!
She is survived by her three brothers: David, Pete, and Mark, and by her many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy, and father, Wesley.
