Sybil S. Miracle, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Sunday September 29, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was 77 years old. Sybil was born on July 19, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida where she lived for the majority of her life. She was the daughter of Charles and Norma Satterwhite.

Sybil was the Bar Manager at the Holiday Inn in Jacksonville Beach for many years and then later became a Nanny. She worked hard to provide for her family and was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Sybil always loved a houseful of family and friends and would always host get togethers on Sundays to watch football. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed baking delicious cakes and cookies for everyone. She was a lover of all music genres and also loved to dance, especially the beach bop. An avid Florida Gator fan, she enjoyed gathering with her friends to watch games on Saturdays. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a smile that would light up a room and a heart the size of the earth. Sybil graduated from Jackson High School in 1960 where she participated in Cheerleading, softball and tennis as well as being voted Most Popular. Sybil loved to sunbathe at the beach, water ski, boating, fine dining and driving around in her customized 51 Ford. Her favorite restaurants were Patti's and LeChateau. She married Joe R. Miracle in 1961 and began making a home for their 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boy. Later in life she gave birth to her 5th child, a boy. She was always active in her children's, grandchildren's and great grand children's lives and activities. At the time of her death she had 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren whom she loved to spend as much time as possible with them.

Sybil is survived by her brother, Charles Satterwhite and children; Kimberly Kaye Miracle, Lori Lane Miracle Lopez, Romy Jo Miracle Gaskin, Joe Rhodes Miracle, Jr and Curtis Michael Herndon. Her grandchildren; Markie Lane Miracle Orelli, Errika Kristin Baker, Elisa Kaye Baker Sampogna, Justin Manual Lopez, Dalia Marta Lopez Sturney, Christopher Edward Gaskin, Taylor Mark Baker, Romy Nicole Gaskin, Joe Rhodes Miracle III, Jalyn Michelle Miracle and Tonka Herndon. Great grandchildren, Dylan Lee Wilson, Caden Jay Wilson, Isabelle Marie Lopez, Kelan Kol Wilson, Rocco Nicholas Sampogna, Donovan Phillip Orelli, Mason Dominic Sampogna, Chandler Jean Gaskin, Jaxon Scott Lopez, Dominic Leo Orelli and Chesney Mae Gaskin.

Sybil was preceded in death by her sister Maxine Satterwhite Pitts.

A celebration of Sybil's life will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Rd., Jacksonville, Florida. A reception to immediately follow at Milano's Pizza, 1504 3rd. St. N., Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Inurnment will be in the Arlington Park Cemetery.
