IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sylvia Lynn
Tagnipez
November 7, 1962 – September 16, 2020
Sylvia Lynn Knapp Tagnipez was born in Quincy, FL on November 7 th , 1962, and returned home to the Lord and her parents on September 16 th , 2020. Sylvia lived in Jacksonville, FL and was 57 years old.
From the day she was born, Sylvia had a fighting spirit and became a warrior for Christ. She had a servant's heart and touched an unknowable amount of lives. Sylvia was a business owner, retired Duval County school board employee, and dedicated couponer. Sylvia was a devoted wife, mother, and Lola. Her greatest joy was in loving and caring for her family. Sylvia's magnetic personality drew people to her and she left each of them better for having known her. She always had a listening ear, an encouraging word, and a heartfelt prayer for anyone in need.
Preceding Sylvia and preparing a place for her with the Lord were her parents, Donald Edward Knapp, Sr of Ohio and Geraldine Hoover Knapp of Pennsylvania. She has been reunited in heaven with her grandmother Catherine Olson, mother in law Syliva Duhaylungsod, father in law Leo Espe, nephew Kenneth House Jr, uncle Morris Hoover, aunt Annamae Molchan, cousin Gerald Lee, and her best friends, Tina Marie Fowler, Debbie Distler, and Jackie Harris Knapp.
Sylvia's servitude, grace, and kindness will continue on in her loving husband, Orencio Tagnipez and children Tiffany Lyn Tagnipez, Orencio (Ren) Tagnipez II (Katy Colton Tagnipez) and Ligaya Tagnipez Distler (Lincoln Distler). Sylvia's smile, spirit, and love remain with her beautiful grandchildren Maleah Kai Tagnipez (8), Penelope Elizabeth Distler (5), Ezekiel Merrick Tagnipez (3), Amelia Lynn Distler (2), and Sophia Jane Distler (7 months). Sylvia's faith in family is strengthened by her siblings Raymond Knapp (Sheila), Russel Knapp (Dianne), Susan Knapp, Shirley Knapp, Donald Knapp Jr, Sara Knapp, Florence Keeton Knapp, and Lynette Foss (John). Sylvia will be remembered fondly by her in-laws, Narciso Tagnipez (Christi), Mila Espe, James Church (Thanatchya), Ligaya Raikes, Ponlisa Ogang (Franz), Janaly Tagnipez, Narciso Tagnipez Jr, Jesse Espe (Danielle), Jean Mayfat (Matt) and James Espe (Miho). Sylvia was blessed with an always growing number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. All of whom know that there was no better place to be a kid than Aunt Sylvia's house.
