Terance (Terry) Martling, 78, of Jacksonville, Fl passed away peacefully while in the gentle care of Baptist South in-patient Hospice, Friday, August 30th, 2024. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rita Martling, son John Waldron, daughter-in-law Kelly and 3 grandchildren, Kyle, Tori and Jenna Waldron; 2 sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his father, Everett Martling and mother, Muzette Heistand Martling.

Terry graduated from DuPont High School, class of 1964. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Augusta State University in 1970 where he was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Terry's career in the health insurance industry began at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida.  He ended his working career after heading his own business of 25 years, Physician Group Management. Along with being a devoted family and businessman, he also enjoyed sports and had a passion for yard work. Terry  will truly be missed and will never, ever, be forgotten.

A graveside service will be held at Arlington Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd, Jacksonville, Fl 32211 at 10:00 am Thursday September 19,2024.
