Teresa Wilds Raffensperger, 73, went into the Lord's Open Arms on August 10, 2026. She was born November 25, 1953 in Chattanooga, TN to James Donald Welchance and Helen Jean Welchance (Newby). Whether in insurance or real estate, she spent her life in agency of others professionally and personally. She was an avid dancer and loved her Jags. She will be missed until that Glorious Day. 

She is survived by sons M. Jake Wilds, Jr and Terry A. Wilds and brother Riley E. Welchance. Grandsons M.J. Wilds III (Jake) / Terry A. Wilds Jr and Jake K. Wilds (Terry), Granddaughters Taylor E. Wilds and Kaylee M. Wilds (Terry). Nephews Kyle Welchance (Riley) James Welchace (Donald) and Nieces Kelly Welchance (Donald) Tiffany Welchance (Riley). 

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 18yrs Marvin Jake Wilds, Sr in 1989. She was also preceded in death by husband James Raffensperger in 2014 (both beloved) as well as brother Donny Welchance (2004) and nephew Riley Welchance, Jr (2025). 

There will be a visitation at Arlington Park Funeral Home on August 27th, at 6PM. She will be laid to rest at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, TN at a date that is still to be determined.
