Theodore McCormick Jr., 71, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, surrounded by his family. Born the youngest of 10 children to Theodore and Margaret. Growing up in Jacksonville with a close-knit family shaped his strong character and values. A proud US Army Veteran Ted served his country with honor and continued to live with the same sense of duty and loyalty throughout his life. After his service he developed a deep love for the outdoors. Spending many days hunting deer in the South Carolina wilderness. Ted was also a passionate Florida Gator and Jacksonville Jaguar fan. His enthusiasm for the game was something he eagerly shared with his family and friends every season.

Ted is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years Pat, and his three children; Jason (Tammy), Christy and Justin, six grandchildren; Tyler, Skyler, Brennan, Winter, Matthew and J.C.. Along with his siblings Doddie, Pat, Virgina, Herb and David. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and wide circle of friends.

A celebration of Ted's life will take place Thursday, October 31, 2024 @11:00 AM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville, Florida 32218.

His legacy of love, loyalty and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
