Theresa Brink Meigs peacefully passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the age of 96. Theresa is survived by her brother Henry Brink and her children John Meigs (Janet) and Mary Adams (Stan) and their families. Buddy, Theresa's husband of 61 years, predeceased her (2009).

Born in Lawrenceburg, TN, Theresa was the second oldest of 5 children. After completing high school, Theresa moved to Wilmington, NC where she began working for the Atlantic Coastline Railroad. It was here that she met and married Buddy and started a family.

Theresa's love of her family was second only to her love of God. A faithful member of Resurrection Catholic Church, Theresa served as a marriage preparation coordinator, a eucharistic minister, and an usher. She enjoyed her women's circle and the many bible study groups.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, Theresa will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Services for Theresa will be held on Friday, August 18th, 2023 at 11:00am at Resurrection Catholic Church. Family will receive guests an hour prior to services. 3383 University Blvd N, Jacksonville, FL 32277. A private, family only, burial will be held at Arlington Park Cemetery.
