Theresa Grace Peel, 85, of Collier and Duval County, Florida, was called back home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Harry on October 24, 2024.

Theresa was born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph & Rose Feliccia on May 24, 1939. Theresa was a Philly Girl at heart, and even though Harry moved her to Jacksonville, Florida to raise a family she never lost her Philadelphia soul, so much so that all her children and grandchildren still consider Philadelphia as their 2nd home.

FOMO was her motto and if she wasn't included in any family event someone had tough questions to answer. She was a fighter in the best sense of the word, and after dealing with an MS diagnosis at a tender age, raising 5 children and suffering the heartbreaking loss of her only love at age 47, Theresa endured and did so with a love for life like no other. Everyone that had the privilege of knowing her came away with the undeniable recognition that Theresa was one of a kind. She never minced words and rarely apologized, but those that knew her never doubted her sincerity. She was the best part of all of us and the world is a lesser place in her absence.

Theresa is preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Rose Feliccia, her husband Harry L. Peel and her sister Angela Feliccia.

Theresa is survived by her sister Patricia Clark, her brother, James Feliccia, her children Michele Wheeler, Denise & Joe Kelly, Michael & Tracy Peel, Terri Ann & Bret Bechtold and Stephen & Kacy Peel, and grandchildren Felix Canino, Anthony Canino, Michael Canino, Christopher Canino, John Harrison Buzzy, Dominic Buzzy, Vincent Buzzy, Christopher Peel, Sarah & Ian Rypkema, Steel Ciurzynski, Jordan Ciurzynski, Kendall Bechtold, Taylor Bechtold, Austin Peel and Reilly Peel.

The family of Theresa Peel wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to Discovery Village IL & AL and The Premier Place in Naples for their exceptional care of Theresa during her most challenging days.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National MS Society in Theresa Peel's name name.

Mass will be at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Burial at Arlington Park Cemetery in Jacksonville to follow.
