Born August 8, 1950 to Thomas and Welma Jean Tenpenny in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on January 12, 2015 in Jacksonville Florida. Bruce was a loving husband, father, and Pawpaw. He is survived by his wife Martha Kay, son J.D.Biggs, daughter Jamie Davis, grandsons Joshua, Marcus, D.J., Alex, granddaughter Olivia, brothers & sister-in-laws Robert & Barbara, Ricky & Jackie, Todd & Kay, niece Hannah, nephew Joshua.

He was a hard worker and believed that you should work hard for your days pay. He liked to tell stories of the things that he and his older brother would do as kids(oh! what stories). He enjoyed building street rods and having fun with his friends and family. Bruce had a talent for cooking and loved to cook for wife's co-workers at school, church, and for family gatherings. He was an awesome Pawpaw that loved his grandchildren. He will be in our hearts forever.

A informal memorial service will be held at Englewood Christian Church in Jacksonville, on Thursday January 15 at 5 pm. There will be a memorial service in Nashville, Tennessee at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to help pay for funeral expenses.
