Obituary of Timothy Durbin
Timothy Alan Durbin, age 57, passed away on December 8, 2007
Tim was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 27, 1950, to parents Harold E. and Betty Cox Durbin. He is survived by his wife, Edwina Lee Durbin; sons Troy A. Durbin (Mary) and Justin A Durbin (Jessica); daughter Amanda Hooks; grandchildren Hunter, Frances, James and William. He is also survived by sisters Marsha Clark (BJ), Lori Whitmer and many nieces and nephews.
Tim served four years in the United States Army and was recently retired from US Gypsum after a twenty-one year career. He had a wide range of hobbies, enjoying fishing, riding his motorcycle and even yard work. He was a passionate sports collector and Gator Fan.
Tims greatest love was his family. Tim was always there for his family and no request was ever too small or too large. He was happy to do whatever he could for those he loved. Tim will be missed so very much by everyone who loved him and his loss leaves a great void in our family. Tim attended First Coast Christian Center. His love of the Lord sustained him and his family throughout his illness. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Pastors Perry and Andrea Fruscella whose love, care and ministry have been an immeasurable blessing to each of us.
Family will receive friends at First Coast Christian Center, 2724 New Berlin Road on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 6pm for visitation and funeral service to follow at 7pm. Pastor Perry Fruscella will be officiating services.
