Timothy Francis Stanish, 85, of Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania passed away on January 20,2024, in Jacksonville, Florida. He served in the United States Navy for 23 years as Chief Petty Officer, specializing as a submariner. After his military service, Timothy had a successful career with the Department of Defense, retiring as a police lieutenant after 20 years.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Delores Stanish, and his children, Mica Rettini Wunder, Joetta Brandy Owens, and his late son Roger Scott Stanish. He was a loving grandfather to Christopher Guy, Rylee James, and Chelsea Martin, and a proud great-grandfather of nine.

In his free time, Timothy enjoyed RVing and exploring outdoors.  He found solace and community at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he and his wife worshipped as parishioners.

A church service will be held in Timothy's honor at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fort Caroline, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 12:30 pm. Following the service, he will be laid to ret at the National Memorial Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida at 2 pm.

Timothy Francis Stanish will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
