Obituary of Victor Guertin

Victor E. Guertin, 92, entered into rest on June 23, 2014. He was born on July 30, 1921 in Providence , RI to the late Vital and Ida Guertin. Victor was formerly of Palm Coast , Fl. He enjoyed gardening and caring for his Koi pond. Above all, Victor treasured being a husband, father, grandfather and spending time with his family. He retired from C.J. Fox printing company in Providence after nearly fifty years of dedicated service. He is preceded in death by his wife of 68 beautiful years, Louise Guertin; siblings, George, Henri, Edward, Irene, Vivian and Alva. Victor is survived by his sons, Stephen T. Guertin and Richard B. Guertin; daughter, Mary Beth Langlais (Luc); grandchildren, Harrison and Gage Langlais, Tammie Ford (Derrick), and Justin Guertin; great grandchildren, Jayden, J.J., Corey, Tyler, and Mauri; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A gathering for friends and family will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from9-10:30am at Arlington Park Funeral Home , 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. A committal service with military honors will follow at Jacksonville National Cemetery , 4083 Lannie Road , Jacksonville , FL at 11:30am.
