Obituary of Virginia Newton

As a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, Virginia (Ellen) Newton (53) completed her journey in this world and entered into heaven as God's child on Tuesday, May 15, 2012. She was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Florida, graduating from Wolfson High School and then FSU. She met her husband, Larry Newton and was married on July 26,1997.

Ellen was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church where she served faithfully as a Sunday School teacher, Lay Reader, Greeter, and Vestry member.

Ellen's true joy came from her family, her students and her passion for teaching. She was a Duval County school teacher for 15 years working at Arlington Middle School.

Ellen is survived by her husband Larry, son Christopher, mother Ethel Lee, brother Stephen Lee (Linda), brother Bill Lee (JoAnn), sister Brenda Dufford, brother-in-law Mike (Paulette) many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorial services, and reception will be held on Saturday, May 26th at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 4171 Hendricks Avenue, Jacksonville, with Father Tom Deppe and Father Gee Alexander officiating.
