Obituary of Wallace Steadman

Wallace D. Steadman, 78, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013. He was a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, great -grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. Wallace was born on February 19, 1935 in Spartanburg, SC to the late Fred and Marie Steadman. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Abercrombie, and his sister, Dorothy Steadman. Wallace is survived by his loving wife, Katie; children, Jason Steadman, Nina Tungol, Steve Steadman, Dana Steadman, Joe (Kathleen) Steadman, and Adam Steadman; brother Fred Steadman; sisters, Maggie Langford, and Jenny Prince; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nephew Mike Prince and niece Kim Williams. Family will receive friends at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211, for a visitation on Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. and a funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Trinity Rescue Mission or the charity of your choice.
