1. Scott Walker, age 92, passed away on January 8, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born June 15, 1925 in Columbia, North Carolina, the son of Willie and Viva Walker.

After his years serving in the US Navy on the USS Iowa, Scott opened the Arlington Barber Shop in 1950 and continued working as a barber until 2014. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Sharon Agee and his brothers Weston and Kermit Walker.

He is survived by his loving wife Eddean, son Wayne, daughter Elaine, granddaughters Michelle, Shavon, and Amy (Dan), and many great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of St. Vincent's South and The McGraw Hospice Center for taking such good care of Scott during his time of need.

Visitation will be held on January 10, 2018 from 5-7 PM at the Arlington Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32211.

Graveside service will be held on January 11, 2018 at 1 PM at Arlington Park Cemetery, burial to follow.
