Obituary of Wendy Painter

Wendy Self-Painter, 41, passed away October 29, 2007. A loving mother, grandmother, daughter and friend. She graduated from Sandalwood High School and worked as a teachers aid since 1989 at Sable Palms Elementary School and loved camping and spending time with her family. She was also very proud to see the birth of her first granddaughter.

Wendy leaves to cherish her memory her children, Korey Godsey and Kristy Godsey; her granddaughter, Addison; parents, Billie and Dorothy Self; brothers, Billy Self and Tony Self and a loving extended family.

Her family would like to thank all of her friends and co-workers, as well as the doctors and staff of her oncologist, for all of the love and support they have shown during this difficult time. Your thoughtfulness has touched their lives in a way that they will hold close in their hearts for many years to come.

Wendys life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 12:00pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road. The family will greet friends tonight, Friday, November 2, 2007 from 6-8:00pm at the funeral home.
